Evacuated Tube Solar Water Heater

Home » Products » Solar Water Heater » Evacuated Tube Solar Water Heater

The evacuated tube solar water heater comes with an unpressurized tank for open circuit system and a galvanized sheet with plastic coating side cover with additive for resistance to ultraviolet irradiation and ageing problems. Additionally, it is sealed with the silica gel ring. The polyurethane is adopted for the perfect insulation, rigidity and tightness. Furthermore, this product also uses the automatic argon protection weld technology to prevent leakage problems. With a stainless steel tank, it occupies little space when installed on the roof.

Working Principle
The evacuated tube solar water heater is an open system and works relying on the natural water circulation between the collector and the tank to transfer the generated heat. In most cases, the internal water circulation conducts without the use of electricity.

As heated in the evacuated tube, the water naturally rises up to the tank while the cooler water in the tank flows down to the bottom of the vacuum tube. Thus, the water circulates throughout the water heating system. During the day, the hot water can be used in view of the daily solar irradiation. Connected to cold water pipes of the building, the water heating system should be refilled in the morning to prevent the vacuum tube breaking when the cold water impact the hot vacuum tube under the high solar irradiation. Additionally, the solar water heating system is non-pressurized, which means that the tank has an overflow and the flow rate of the hot water is dependent on the difference in elevation between this system and the hot water outlet.

Introduction of Components
The collector of the evacuated tube solar water heater is composed of all-glass evacuated tubes. In addition, the evacuated tube comprises of two coaxial borosilicate glass tubes and has an outer diameter of 58mm and length of 1800mm or 2100mm. The thickness of glass is 1.6mm  . The inner tube is processed to perform like a selective surface with the absorptance more than 0.93 and emittance less than 0.07 . The air pressure between 2 glass tubes is less than 0.005 Pa. The stagnation temperature is over 200℃.

This product comes with an angle steel support frame with a plastic coating. So this product comes with not only the features of built-in safety, durability and easy installation but also aesthetically pleasing appearance.

The tank of this evacuated tube solar water heater is made of 304 stainless steel with a thickness of 0.4mm, meeting the national OCr18Ni9 standard. Customers can be assured that water in such tank is completely contamination-free. The side cover of the tank is made of plastic ABS with additive for resistance to ultraviolet irradiation and aging problems. The tank cover is made of a colored steel plate, which gives the tank a beautiful and elegant design. The storage tank and the vacuum tubes are mounted as one unit on the roof of the building with the tubes linked to the storage tank on top.

This product comes in SPQBP58/1800/15-120-3, SPQBP58/1800/18-150-3 and SPQBP58/1800/21-170-3 models. These models are fabricated with 15, 18 and 21 vacuum tubes, respectively. The volumes of their tanks are 120L, 150L and 170L. So customers can choose appropriate products in line with their actual needs.

As a specialized evacuated tube solar water heater manufacturer and supplier in China, Sunda also provides heat pipe solar water heater, heat pipe solar vacuum tube, evacuated solar heat pipe tube, flat plate solar collector, among others.
